Eksamen er nu overstået

Eksamen i BDSA 2012 er nu overstået. Samlet set var der 62 studerende tilmeldt eksamen, hvoraf de 59 mødte op. Gennemsnittet blev 5.98 og karakterene er fordelt som set nedenfor. Tak for denne gang. Vi håber at det, som I har lært bliver nyttig for jer i jeres fremtidige karriere.

Ændring i eksamensplanen

Den censor, som oprindelig var planlagt til at deltage i vores eksamen har her i sidste øjeblik meldt afbud og sagt at han ikke kunne komme. Derfor har der været lidt hektisk aktivitet med at finde en eller flere nye censore, som kunne træde til med meget kort varsel. Det er lykkedes os at finde 2 dygtige folk som kunne træde til. MEN — det betyder at vi har måtte lave om på eksamensplanen på følgende måde:

  • Dem som oprindelig skulle op d. 17. januar er flyttet til d. 16. januar.
  • Dem som oprindelig skulle op d. 18 januar er ny flyttet til d. 23 januar.

Check de nye tider på eksamensplanen og lad og lige gennemgå det til spørgetimen i morgen.

Could we please ask you to send a pdf version of your reports? (it is more practical to have them electronically as well). You should name the file as <group no.>.BDSA2012.Project.Report.pdf and send it to bardram<at>itu<dot>dk. Thanks!

Information about the Exam…

… is now available on the Exam page. The official exam schedule is also available. Note that minor changes to the schedule may come. The Q&A session will be on January 11th in AUD2 from 09:00 to 10:00. With this I wish you all a very merry Xmas and a happy new year, and best of luck with the exam preparations. See you next year.

Project Demonstration

We hope that everyone is on track for handing in the project today. Remember that tomorrow at 09:00 (note that this time we start at 09:00) we will run the project demonstration in 3A.12 (note change of room). We will progress in the order listed on on the team page, starting with team #1, etc. Note that this has to be done quick and swiftly, and you should hence be well prepared. Team #1, please setup before 9 o’clock, and the rest of you, line up and be ready when it is your turn. See the project description page for a description of what and how to demo.

Q&A + Supervision

This morning, there was nobody at the Q&A session in AUD4 — we trust that this is because you all are doing well and there are no problems or questions. Remember that if you have questions, post them on the project page in order to share with everyone.

Since nobody showed up today, we will alter the procedure a bit for the coming two weeks. Instead Dario and I will have office hours, where you can consult with us.

  • Jakob will be available on Mondays (i.e. Dec. 3th + 10th) from 13:00 to 15:00
  • Darion will be available on Tuesday (i.e. Dec. 4th + 11th) from 09:00 to 12:00

If you need our help, please send us an email on beforehand so we know that you’re coming.

Student programmer needed!

Currently we are looking for a student programmet at PIT LAB with among other Android programming skills. The work will primarily be within the MONARCA project, but will assist with other projects and lab work in PIT LAB as needed. This will offer very diverse work setting, getting experience with a lot of different technologies and people.
