Interactive Playground

A new and interesting project collaboration possibility is now open. The material is in Danish only.

Den interaktive Legeplads

Samarbejdsmulighed med Sidsel Bjerregaard (cand arch).

Her er hvad hun skriver:

PC Touch Screens

As Solvang Public Library (Remisevej 14 – 2300 Copenhagen S) is planning to implement a 22” PC Touch Screen as a dialogue panel for citizens they are interested in students to help them develop an intuitive and easy-to-use interface; also for users who are not familiar with the regular computer. As the users of the library represent all age groups, the design must meet children, parents as well as elderly.

The system is supposed to support search functionalities, by interaction dialogues as:

  • Entering questions
  • Messages
  • Voice recordings with and without webcamera
  • Transfers from mobile phones and cameras
  • Text Messaging from mobile phones

The design must appeal to each target group, by e.g. making it more formal looking for adults and more hip and cool for teenagers. The targeting of each group can also be implemented in the communication patterns.

The technical environment will be based on a CMS-system, such as WordPress, where each supplier can access their own part of the system.

Our plan is to invite all stakeholder to a brainstorming session on what the system is supposed to offer the citisenz.
